Experience

During my college days, I worked at the helpdesk of my school’s IT department. I resolved technical issues for college staff and students over the phone, through remote desktop, and via face-to-face interactions. I also managed Active Directory user accounts for password resets and door swipe permissions. As a member of the helpdesk team, I collaborated with the broader IT team to prioritize tasks in the ticket system for efficient problem resolution. Additionally, I enhanced team productivity by creating and refining knowledge base documentation.

In my role as a Software Engineer at The SpaceLab, I designed and implemented a scalable PostgreSQL database and GraphQL API for efficient, real-time data retrieval and management, supporting front-end application requirements.

I also set up and maintained the backend team’s CI/CD pipeline using Git, EC2, and Lambda, automating testing and deployment across production, staging, and development environments to streamline the deployment process.

During lulls between sprints, I performed regular server maintenance tasks, including database tuning, log management, and resource monitoring, to ensure optimal performance and minimal service disruptions. I implemented an incremental backup system on AWS RDS, automating regular snapshots to optimize storage usage and enable quick recovery. Lastly, I conducted security audits on user roles and permissions to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.
